The Group prides itself on innovation and originality. Its projects emphasize aesthetics and architectural styles that meld ancient heritage with modern civilization. World-renowned architects, such as I.M. Pei, have worked on its developments. In the United States, SEDCO was a partner in the development of the tallest building in downtown Houston, undertaken with Gerald D. Hines Associates and Texas Commerce Bank. It was also the turnkey developer of MetroWest, a 1,800-acre multi-use development in Orlando, Florida. Additionally, the Group has contributed significantly to expanding the infrastructure of modern Saudi Arabia. It was awarded some of the major joint venture projects such as the design, development and construction of the Jeddah Ship Repair Yard, among others.

Over recent years, the scope of REG activities has expanded steadily, particularly in favor of development.
